Most of the statistical consulting
handled by departmental faculty takes place through
the following three
venues.
The Statistical
Consulting Center (SCC) is an educational
and service unit which functions to provide statistical
advice, statistical analyses, project management,
and data management for the university and private
research community.
The Bioinformatics
Consulting Center (BCC) is a service unit within
the Life Sciences Consortium at Penn State. The BCC,
comprised of biologists, statisticians
and computer scientists, provides
assistance in data management, experiment design and analysis required for genomics
and proteomics research.
The Statistical
Consulting Center for Astronomy (SCCA) is
a team of Penn State faculty with interest and
expertise in statistical problems arising in astronomical
research. |
