The Guide to Survival in the Statistics Department was written in 1996-1997 by the Student Advisory Committee with assistance from Dr. James Rosenberger, Dr. Michael Akritas, and Ms. Sue Stewart. The Guide was updated in 2002 and has recently undergone a partial revision (January 2006). We expect the Guide will be more thoroughly revised in the near future. This Guide is intended to supplement the Graduate Program Handbook.

Progress to Graduate Degree Form. Please submit the form to Jenn Parkes by the end of the first week of every semester summarizing the progress you made up to the end of the previous semester. Note: This form should be downloaded to your computer, filled in on your computer, and saved. In future semesters, it will then be simple to update it.

New Exam Requirements will apply to students admitted to the graduate program beginning FALL 2007.
