Department of Health Evaluation Sciences has three major goals; to support the continued growth and development of a superb Biostatistics Section, to build new clinical investigation capacity, focusing on clinical trials and outcomes research, and to contribute to the educational mission of the college by developing a Master's level program in health evaluation sciences.

Center for Likelihood Studies has one main goal of fostering a creative and interactive environment for students and faculty who share common intersts in the area of likelihood theory and methods.

The Center for Multivariate Analysis functions to create opportunities for scholars from all over the world to visit and conduct research.

The Center for Statistical Ecology and Environmental Statistics has a goal to enhance environmental and ecological preservation and management by using valid statistical methods, as well as to advance the field of statistics through studies on the environment.

The Statistical Consulting Center for Astronomy (SCCA) is a team of Penn State faculty with interest and expertise in statistical problems arising in astronomical research. The Center has contacts with experts in the international statistical community. The goals of the center are: (a) address the immediate statistical needs of astronomers by providing prompt high-quality statistical advice; (b) make publicly available questions and answers for the benefit of the wider astronomical community; and (c) encourage interdisciplinary collaboration between the fields of statistics and astronomy.
