GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals is accepting applications for student co-op positions to start in January 2002 for its R&D sites in Philadelphia, PA and King of Prussia, PA Applicants must be graduate students in statistics or biostatistics (one year of graduate course work required)

Brief Description of Work

Work with pharmaceutical industry statisticians on experimental design and data analysis in a variety of areas in drug discovery and development. Positions are available in nonclinical R&D and clinical pharmacology (Phase I clinical trials). Positions are targeted for 6 to 12 months. The length of time can be negotiable. Applicants must be matriculated students.
