Beatrix Jones

Assistant Professor of Statistics
Ph.D., University of Washington, 2000

Summary of research interests

Dr. Jones is interested in application of statistics to problems in Ecology and Genetics. Most recently, she has been working on applying modern computational techniques (e.g. Markov Chain Monte Carlo estimation of likelihood ratios) to the problem of infering seed and pollen dispersal distributions in plants.
