Things are going well here, I have become the leader of the Bioinformatics Stat Analyst group. we currently have about 10 stat analysts working in Bioinformatics and the group is growing. Analyst
The Division of Quantitative Sciences is
seeking a highly motivated statistical analyst
with expertise in biostatistics and
bioinformatics. The successful candidate will
join a team of biostatisticians and
bioinformaticians working on a wide variety of
collaborative projects in cancer research. This
position will have a primary focus in
bioinformatics. Requirements include:
Master's degree in bioinformatics,
biostatistics, statistics, computing or
related field
Working knowledge of Windows and/or UNIX
operating systems
Experience in programming and statistical
analysis
Proficiency in S-PLUS, SAS, Fortran, C or
similar packages
Excellent communication skills
Work experience in medical/biomedical
research (preferred)
Salary is competitive and is commensurate with
experience. The institution offers incentives
