DEPARTMENT OF STATISTICS

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN STATISTICS

The Department of Statistics at Florida State University invites
applications for a tenure-track position in statistics starting August
2008. The Statistics Department has a growing teaching and research
program with over 50 graduate students. We presently offer an M.S. in
Statistics and Biostatistics and a PhD in Statistics and in
Biostatistics. Candidates with interests in all areas of statistics are
invited to apply. A PhD. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field
is required. Candidates should have strong commitments to excellence in
teaching and research. Review of candidates will begin December 1, 2007
and continue until the position is filled.
