Survey Statistics Faculty Position at Iowa State University
Applications are invited for an open-rank tenured or tenure-track
faculty position in the Department of Statistics & the Center for
Survey
Statistics and Methodology (CSSM). This position is affiliated
with
statistics faculty who engage in interdisciplinary research in sample
surveys, supported in part by funding from federal and state
agencies.
The atmosphere is one of collaboration among faculty, students, subject
matter researchers in academia and government, and staff trained in
survey methodology. A successful candidate will be expected to
maintain
a vigorous research program, advise graduate students, and provide
innovative and excellent instruction. Survey expertise is desired but
not required. Possible appointment as CSSM Director for candidate with
appropriate interest and experience. Further information about CSSM can

Candidates for assistant professor should provide an application
