Homework Assignments
I will start posting solutions for these assignments, written by the textbook authors, Muhammad, and me.
| Date Assigned | Date Due | Assignment |
|---|---|---|
| Jan. 9 | Jan. 13 | Go to
www.r-project.org
and install R on your computer (or a friend's computer).
Once it's installed, start it up and type the following command at the prompt
(by the way, I updated this so it works on any type of machine!):
as.numeric(format(Sys.time(),"%j%S%M%H")) Be sure to type this exactly (R is case-sensitive). You'll get a 7- or 8-digit integer as a response. Email this integer (nothing else) to dhunter@stat.psu.edu from your psu.edu account with the subject "Jan. 16 assignment". |
