The lecture notes are posted on ANGEL and they are also listed below. The files below are exactly the same as the ones on ANGEL; in particular, none of the typographical errors identified throughout the semester have been corrected in these files. However, updated versions are available here.

A table of contents for the lecture notes provides a good summary of the topics covered in the course. Sections that were not covered during FALL 2006 are marked in the table of contents with an asterisk. These sections are 3.1, 3.2, 8.5, 9.3, 10.3, and 10.4.
