WC Implementation Summary

STAT 200: Elementary Statistics

Course Overview

The following course outline is intended to give you a visual "snapshot" of the types of activities that take place in STAT 200.

The major components of the course include a series of lessons - 13 in all. Each lesson involves you in what you would be asked to do in any typical course: readings and homework problems from the textbook, lesson notes to review, and lab activities to complete. Most of these lab activities will involve using the statistical software application, Minitab.

Online, through the course's ANGEL course management web site, you will also become involved in group discussions, take the Mastery Quiz at the end of each lesson, complete cumulative quizzes after every other lesson or so, and complete a group project for the course.
