This web page is designed to accommodate ONLY students in Section 001 of STAT 250. Section 001 meets MWF 9:05-9:55 a.m. in 104 Thomas Building.
This course is designed for students in the biological and health sciences. In taking this course, students will develop an understanding of the reasoning by which findings from sample data can be extended to larger, more general populations. Time permitting, methods covered will include: descriptive statistics, probability, statistical inference for one- and two-sample problems, linear regression, analysis of variance, and categorical data analysis. Examples and applications from the life and health sciences fields will be emphasized.
