Colloquia

In addition to the regularly scheduled departmental colloquia, the Student Advisory Committee sponsors seminars that are particularly informative for graduate students. Examples of past seminars include employees from pharmaceutical companies and the federal government, new professors talking about their current research, graduate students from other departments with interesting statistical issues in their theses, and human resources personnel talking about job searching/interviewing skills.
