Poster Competition at Alumni Workshop

You should definitely participate!

The Statistics Department Alumni Workshop will be held on March 29 (Thursday). This will be the fourth year that we sponsor a student poster competition in conjunction with the workshop—which we for sure will offer a monetary prize! So here is your fair warning: If you are a student working on a project (graduate or undergraduate), you should consider making a poster to complement your hard work and interesting research. Also, research projects such as honor’s projects, MAS projects, MS, and PhD research would make great posters. If you are a professor assigning a project now, before or in the next few months, we would love it if you would encourage your students make a poster.

Important Deadlines

1.          Register the poster competition by Mar. 09 (Friday). Please email the names of participants and the title of your project.

2.          Turn in your project the by Mar. 23 (Friday). Please email your project to the contact.
