Dear Alumni,

 

We invite you to join the Department of Statistics faculty, students and staff
for the 11th annual (almost) Alumni Workshop, with keynote speaker Bonnie
Ghosh-Dastidar.

 

On Thursday we will have technical sessions including a full program of talks
by our present students who are preparing to speak at spring conferences such
as ENAR.  The keynote address will be at 4:00.  The day includes lots of time
for socializing, seeing old friends and meeting new members of the Department.
This event also serves as a recruiting weekend, and some of our top applicants
will be invited.  Of course, lunch and dinner will be provided.

 

On Friday there is more time for visiting.  This is an ideal time to interview
students if there are opportunities at your current place of employment.
