PSU Graduate Students

We invite each PSU graduate student to take advantage of TWO short term consultations at no charge, one at the design stage and one at the analysis stage of thesis research.  We cannot review dissertations. 

Each consultation consists of two meetings with a statistics graduate student enrolled in our Consulting Practicum course.
     At the completion of the second meeting, you will receive a written recommendation report.

The First Consultation -- 2 free meetings

At the Design Stage, please bring the following items with you to the meeting:

* A well written abstract

*  Pilot study description and data

*  Supporting literature review  

The Second Consultation -- 2 free meetings

At the Analysis Stage please bring the following items with you to the meeting:

     *  A well defined hypothesis

     *  A description of the study

     *  Any survey instrument used

     *  Output of code and error statements

PSU Faculty

This service is similar to the assistance we offer graduate students.  We provide advice in a written report, without analyzing your data.  Each consultation consists of two meetings.

     The typical short-term project requires 10 hours of statistical effort.  This effort consists of meeting, research and documentation time.  For faculty clients, hours will be billed at half our approved rate.
